What makes Nak Won so special is that it does not take a lot of money to fill up on great food, this is no doubt due to the freshly made appetizers that the restaurant generously offers. When people think about Korean food they usually think "Korean BBQ" and while Nak Won has the same popular BBQ they really shine because of their wide assortment of traditional Korean dishes. Want to experience a whole new world of Asian food? Try the popular KamJa Tang, which is a stewed pork bone served with potato. This dish is very popular among other Korean restaurants too, yet Nak Won is the one who provides the biggest portion of all! Also, there's a dish called Dolsot Bibim Bap which is assorted vegetables, meats, and Korean spicy sauce atop steamed rice in a hot stone bowl. This dish was Michael Jackson's favourite and is now becoming famous all around the world.

Nakwon Korean Restaurant is one of the better Korean restaurants outside of Korean Town. The first resaturant was located at Yonge and Finch where there is a high population of Koreans and slowly the success allowed Nakwon to expand to First Markham Place. This restaurant has delicious tasting Korean meals from grilled meats to spicy seafood noodles. The 8 plates of mini appetitizers that are complimentary are delicious as well and adds to the whole experience. Be sure to call in for a reservation during the weekends as the restaurant does get filled quite early. They do have a large private room in the back for large family gatherings or private functions.
