Joons Restaurant

My first encounter with Korean food was from this restaurant, not this location though. I tried the one at Korean Town instead, same food. I loved it! Most of their foods on the menu would require you to order at least 2 servings of each dish. Joons is known for their food on hot plates, served with beef/pork/chicken/seafood, cabbage, carrots, and chili sauce. The food is cooked in front of you. If you cannot eat spicy food, you can tell them to make it less spicy for you. You can also add rice cakes, cheese, noodles, or rice. Usually at the end, when the dish is finished, using the leftover sauce on the hot place, I would order a serving of rice (or two, depending on how hungry I am at that time) to make spicy fried rice with a hint of sesame oil. With korean family-type restaurants, you can't expect there to have excellent services. Also, generally their English isn't that great either.
