Hillside Motel Limited

Too tired to drive anymore, we searched Priceline for a cheap place to stay but could not book as it was already past midnight. Rang the office bell twice and it took 10min for a woman coming down to answer the door in her robes. She charged us over $90+ taxes and told us she was giving us a discount rate!!! (It was around $55 on Priceline). I thought it was ridiculous for an dingy motel to charge that much but was too tired to say anything. Drove the car down the extremely steep narrow hill to the back side where our room was and I almost contemplated sleeping in the car when I saw the state of the room. I'd say this place is at least 30yrs old and badly needs remodeling. The door has a screen door before it. Carpet is very old. Sofa and chair has blanket coverings - Yuck. I was worried about bed bugs so I kept my luggage on the table tightly zipped. The next morning while departing, I spotted a vermin in our living room. So glad I didn't see this the last night to freak me out! Avoid! You have been warned.
