CLASSIC CROOK. Typical scammer Steve showed up, inspected the system for approx 3 minutes, and then proclaimed all is lost, must replace the whole system. Floundered with a quote. First it was 2500, then it was 1800, then it was 2300. Mentioned some more upcharges he would recommend, and left me with an estimate of 2500. Got a second opinion from Arpies (A++ service) and was back in business for 200 dollars and 1 hour of work. THANKS RAY! Interesting that province of Alberta does not show Solid Rock HVAC as a registered business, nor does google. Buyer beware. you've been warned.
