To assist livestock and meat processing industries in Atlantic Canada and elsewhere with independent, professional, science-based animal welfare auditing and assessment services, training in humane handling of livestock, and development of custom brand standards. The overall aim is to help improve the lives of farm animals while supporting the integrity of animal agriculture. "Farm animal audits ensure the integrity of animal welfare standards in livestock agriculture" Farm animal welfare is an increasingly important issue of concern for both the public and animal agriculture. Animal welfare audits are conducted at livestock facilities for the purpose of ensuring compliance with industry standards and/or troubleshooting and solving animal handling problems. In answer to the call for improved accountablity and promotion of best management practices in the raising and handling of livestock in modern agriculture, Integrity Livestock Services offers services which assist and support these endeavours.
