I am happy to share a new technique that I have incorporated into my Reiki practice: Aroma Touch Therapy!
The traditional Aroma Touch Technique involves the application of layers of essential oils along the spine, on the back, earlobes and feet. It detoxifies and strengthens the body's immune system, as well as stabilizes emotional states. Dr. K. Hill, the originator of this technique and co-founder of both Young Living and do-TERRA essential oils, demonstrated through several studies how various pathogens such as bacteria, toxins and microorganisms collect along the spine causing allergies, fluctuations in mood, and chronic illnesses and diseases. He developed this technique in order help the body expel these pathogens. Many people who have had a series of these treatments claimed improvement in their health during chemotherapy, MS symptoms, spinal chord injuries, depression, anxiety, allergies, arthritis, post-operative health, flu, sinusitis, gastrointestinal issues and more. I use Aroma Touch combined with Usui Reiki. My experience has shown that Reiki, a modality using universal energy which promotes relaxation allowing the body to heal itself, enhances the efficacy of the essential oils and the detoxification process.
