SOS Handyman was formed by a group of seasoned construction and renovation professionals, who realized that the handyman industry is a swamp of sometimes dangerously inexperienced labour. People in the Greater Toronto Area pay some of the highest real estate prices in the world for their homes, yet when they need maintenance work done on their home, or small repairs, they have nowhere secure to turn. The renovation companies prioritize big projects, and if you just want some track lighting installed, or a ceiling fan hung in your bedroom, your options are all dicey, and you have little assurance of the quality of work you are going to get. Ever needed to get a small repair done at your home? How did you find the right guy to do the work for you? If you’re like most of our clients, they followed somebody’s recommendation, and lived to regret it. “I know this guy who…” can easily turn into a nightmare, when all you can do is pray that the job is done right.
