Portside Plumbing & Gas Ltd. is a full service plumbing and gas fitting company offering the following services: New Construction Installs: -Under-slab plumbing, rough-in and finishing fixtures. -Custom shower installs: rain heads, body sprays, custom valve configurations. Renovation: -Full house/basement/crawl space plumbing upgrades. Removal and replacement of all piping. -Single or multi bathroom renovations, tub and valve replacements. -Kitchen sinks, fridge boxes, dishwasher installs. -Toilet replacement with new 4.8L per flush fixtures. (qualifying for the city of nanaimo toilet rebate when available) and removal and recycling of old fixture. Small repairs: -Hot water tank Replacements (including removal and recycling of the old tank). We have a water transfer pump, that is able to drain the old hot water tank in less than 10 minutes. This will speed up the replacement, letting our customers carry on with their day. -Leakey faucets, toilet repairs. -All household plumbing repairs. Gas Fitting: -New construction complete gas system installations. -Renovation, reworking the gas piping to new locations and re-sizing to allow for new appliances. -Repairs and service of existing appliances including: hot water tanks, gas fireplaces, boilers, on-demand hot water heaters, BBQ boxes, furnaces and all other gas appliances. In-floor Heating (Hydronic Heating): -Full in-floor heating systems with properly designed layout for maximum efficiency. -Stainless steel flow balancing manifolds -Providing many boiler and storage tank options.
