Kiss of Spice catering was created and launched in October 2012. I was inspired by my late grandmother taught me to cook; and how to create the dishes of her generation, combining her unique recipes, methods and the wonderful spices of the islands.
The foods that I have conceived and created represent a fascinating fusion of flavours influenced by India and Africa. Each of these cultures had their own uniqueness of great cooking using spices that was used by our great ancestors to produce a new type of fusion cuisine that is mouth watering spicy and delicious. At Kiss-of-Spice my recipes reflects the authentic and indegenious foods of various islands you will experience a new type of Caribbean flare with a brighter fresher modern twist, and of course infused with the traditional local herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables often fired up with a special variety of hot peppers.
