FYI : In all of the Scentsy wax products, we use high-quality, paraffin based wax. It contains no parabens or paraben by-products. This wax was chosen because of its superior scent loading ability, melting point, and firmness. We did look into vegetable based waxes, but couldn't get the quality of candle bar we were looking for. Our wax products are not actually burned in our warmers so it isn't released into the air. You don't have to worry about chemicals being released because the warmers only warm the scent out of the wax while the wax remains in the warmer."
