MAISON BRUYERE INC
57 RUE DE COUVENT,Business details
Description
Built in 1867, La Maison Bruyère was originally a boarding school and convent for the Sisters of Charity during the life of Mother Elizabeth Bruyère. In 2008, it was restored and converted into a luxury country house estate by resident owners Louise Brazeau Ward and her son John Ward.
It is situated in Aylmer (Gatineau, Qc.), close to the Aylmer Marina with its spectacular sunsets, and is only a few kilometers away from Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ont. La Maison Bruyère offers accommodation and five-star service for overnight business meetings, spiritual retreats as well as family gatherings and events such as weddings, receptions, baptisms or vow renewals.
It is also home to a satellite campus of l’Academie de Formation Linguistique which offers daily classes in second language training as well as immersion programs with in-house stays. La Maison Bruyère can be rented in exclusivity, for a three-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis (or for longer periods if required) to accommodate your needs.
La Maison Bruyère is a home, not a hotel, that guests are invited to share as friends rather than clients. It offers relaxed formality in an elegant and serene setting. It is a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
