Music A For Young Children - St Boniface

I am excited to be offering Music For Young Children lessons in St. Boniface. My initial introduction to MYC was as an 8 year old. There was a teacher in my town who had just taken her MYC training and my parents signed me up for Moonbeams 1. I learned so much and as I grew older and participated in more music activities I realized how much my MYC beginning was an advantage that I had over other young people who had just individual piano lessons.
MYC is: MOTIVATING: Learning together in a group setting is fabulous for children because it’s an inviting, free, and engaging environment. The lessons incorporate note reading, sight reading, ear training, singing, rhythm dictation, ensemble playing, movement, composing, music history, and more. Coming to class with your child provides special one-on-one time, and teaches you music, too! FUN: We enjoy music together and children come to class wanting to discover, explore, create, and perfect. We use puppets, crafts, rhythm instruments, CD accompaniments, bell instruments, pianos, stories, and visual aids to make learning a memorable and flourishing experience! Give us a call today!
