Peckinpah Restaurant

This is my favourite place for BBQ in Vancouver. Its a small restaurant so if you go here at dinner time you may have to wait a while, which is what happened to me, but it was worth it. The combination of meat cooked perfectly until tender and the fantastic sweet bbq sauce that they use on their dishes wins it for me. Came here for brisket and wings, and it was really the best place i've ever had for both. The brisket was so tender and flavourful I just kept eating and eating it until I finished everything. The wings had a bbq flavour to them and combined with the sauce and extra dipping sauce, I couldn' get enough of them. The sides of baked beans I had were ok, but I enjoyed really the collared greens, they were slightly bitter but I did not mind because they complimented the sweet and savoury of the bbq. Not sure if they bottle their sauce and sell it, but they should! They also have a late night special $6.50 for bbq pulled pork sandwich, side and drink which is totally awesome.
