We are pleased to offer low force instrument adjusting with the Activator instrument, and the Varible Frequency Adjuster (from Sigma), Cold Laser Therapy from Theralase, Custom Orthotics from The Orthotic Group, and non-custom orthotics from Superfeet.
Dr. Murray graduated from The University of Waterloo in 1996 with a B.Sc. in Honours Kinesiology. From there he attended The National College of Chiropractic just outside of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Murray graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000 and began practice in early 2001. Dr. Murray practiced in Teeswater, Ontario for over five years before opening the Lucknow Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in January 2006. Dr. Murray is joined in the office by massage therapist Brooke Marks RMT, Naturopathic Doctor Angela Hanlon N.D., and Reflexologist Yvonne (Bonnie) Kuik. Dr. Murray has done additional training in low force chiropractic techniques including Activator Methods, and Pro-adjuster Technique. Dr. Murray currently utilizes both methods to treat spinal subluxations (or fixations) using these low force instruments on spinal joints, as well as, hips, knees, feet, shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Dr. Murray has also completed extensive training in acupuncture, as well as, soft tissue techniques (i.e. myofascial release techniques, massage), foot dysfunction and orthotics, sports injuries, nutritional supplements and herbal remedies, and Low-Level Laser. Ultrasound therapy, Flexion-Distraction Technique, and a Flexion & Distraction (specialized traction) Table are also utilized in the office. Dr. Murray utilizes laser therapy using the Theralase laser for a wide range of conditions in order to speed healing, as well as to help treat addictions and for weight loss. Dr. Murray provides complementary Gaitscans, a computerized system which scans the foot while walking and standing still, to identify possible foot dysfunction that may play a role in foot, knee, hip, and back pain. If necessary custom foot orthotics are made for the patient, or non-custom orthotics are available. Dr. Murray has also completed courses which tap into the body’s own natural intelligence. This enables him to gain information from the patient and identify what is wrong and what is needed to be done to help. Neurolink and Body Talk are unique treatments which aid the body in healing itself, and identifying areas of the body which may require additional treatment options or nutritional supplements.
