This modern bistro-style restaurant opened August 2004, in Ottawa's popular West Wellington neighbourhood. Allium features an eclectic blend of exciting playful Canadian cuisine and classic French techniques. Head chef Arup Jana established his career in Saskatoon where he apprenticed at "Calories" and moved on to become the head chef at Geraldo's in Ottawa. Arup brings his expertise to Allium, where his passion for fresh, local ingredients translates into the creation of a new monthly menu featuring fresh and unique dishes. Allium's modern and comfortable atmosphere, fresh new menus every month, and array of well-priced wines present a relaxed and satisfying dining experience.
