Northland Oral Surgery Centre is an accredited out-patient surgical and anesthesia facility located in northwest Calgary, approximately 5 minutes from the University of Calgary. Our facility can offer you the choice of having your procedure done with general anesthesia, intravenous sedation, oral sedation, or local anesthesia. We are accredited by the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Alberta Dental Association and College. This means that we meet the standards and guidelines for patient safety and care and infection prevention and control.
Dr. Shawn Higashi is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in both Canada and the United States. He completed a 4-year Maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma.
