Over the years, Tyler has had the opportunity to work for some very talented, experienced trainers such as Natalie Weichel, Wayne Latimer, Clay Webster and Rod Thiessen of Frehlick Quarter Horses. This has enabled Tyler to gain knowledge in starting, training and showing horses with much success in three diffferent disciplines- reined cowhorse, reining and cutting. Tyler has earned money in all 3 associations: NRCHA, NRHA & NCHA. A few of Tyler's recent accomplishments include: 2011 Silver Slate Reining Classic – 2nd in the Open Reining 2011 Pineridge Summer Sizzler Reining Show – 1st in the Novice Horse Open Level , 2nd in the Open 2010 Canadian Supreme – Winner of Limited Open Snaffle Bit Futurity, 3rd in the Open Snaffle Bit Futurity, 2nd in the Supreme Nominated Open Snaffle Bit Futurity 2010 Alberta Snaffle Bit Futurity – Winner of the Limited Open Snaffle Bit Futurity 2010 Wheat City Reining Derby – 1st in the Intermediate Open (both days), 1st in the Limited Open (both days) 2009 Alberta Snaffle Bit Futurity – Winner of the Limited Open Snaffle Bit Futurity, 5th in the Open Derby 2008 Canadian Supreme – Winner of the Limited Open Reining Futurity 2007 Moose Jaw Stakes & Futurities - 2nd in the Limited Open Futurity and 5th in the Open Futurity
