We are a private recording studio in the heart of Kitsilano in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. We offer a wide range of recording and composing services, including masterful production and access to top of the line session musicians at unbeatable rates. We specialize in rock, alternative, pop, dance and electronica, but we welcome a wide range of styles.
Recording Echoman Records offers on-site vocal and instrumental tracking. We run Pro tools HD and are available to do midi tracking for you. Enjoy the benefits of an isolation booth for achieving professional level clean recording. Our relaxed atmosphere will allow you the comfort you need to perform your best, so that you can get the product that you want. Production We've all heard the term "studio magic", and this is where that happens. You can feel confident as you are led through the recording process of our meticulous attention to detail, and that your final product will not disappoint. Songwriting Many musicians have come up with an amazing set of lyrics and a melody, but struggle filling out the instrumental parts. Others have a great time jamming original chord sequences, but can't quite put their finger on the perfect melody. Echoman Records has you covered no matter your song writing situation. We offer composition services as part of our package recording deal, whether you are simply looking for a co-writer, an arranger, or a brand new song created just for you to kick-start your performing career! Mixing Recording high quality tracks is one of the most vital elements of any decent recording, but if your tracks aren't mixed well, your song will never sound the way it should. Echoman Records offers exceptional mixing using Pro tools HD as part of our package recording deal. Session Musicians Echoman Records is pleased to offer the following instruments as part of our package recording deal: guitar (acoustic/electric) bass backing vocals violin midi programming* loop/drum programming** *Midi programming includes performing instrumental elements for instruments that are unavailable to us without incurring extra costs. One example of an instrument that we would not normally have access to on-site is the piano. Fortunately the midi tracking is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing, and would be performed by an experienced pianist. **We are not yet capable of recording live drums on-site at Echoman Records but instead provide you with incomparable (seriously) midi drumming. If you feel that you would prefer to record live drums we are more than happy to record you at any studio of your choice in the Vancouver area. Your drum tracks will subsequently be edited at Echoman Records. (Regular booking rates for the additional studio will apply in addition to our package deal fee.)
