earl's music lessons

Description

Earl was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario and started his music career in church choirs at age 8. As a child Earl has won several local competitions including the Kawanis Festival. Earl's passion for the drums and guitar started at age 9 and he formed his first band at the age of 11. He continued to learn and develop his love of music through high school. At 17 he graduated high school winning the Canadian Jazz Stage Band Festival and was choosen as the all star drummer. After high school Earl went on the road with several bands most of whom he put together himself. Earl has played most of Canada, Holland, Germany and the United States. When Earl isn't teaching he continues to play locally at corporate functions, cruise boats, dinner theaters, festivals and public venues. Earl's roots in music are Rock and Roll, gospel, country and jazz. Teaching Earl has been teaching private music lessons for 12 years and has mentored several students.
