I make handmade soaps, bath and body products. I started making my own products several years ago because I was tired of purchasing products with all the nasty ingredients in them and I wanted to be able to control what I put on my skin. What started as a curiosity has now turned into a passion for quality handmade products.
I love making all of my products but have to be honest and say that soap is definitely my passion! I make Cold Process soap (CP), where oils and butters are melted and then a lye/water solution is added to the mixture. The mixture goes through a saponification process and the end result is soap! I never use lard or tallow oils, only high quality vegetable oils. I also make body scrubs, face cream, bath salts, lip balms and lotion sticks that all compliment each other.
