Keys and Pipes Music Studio offers piano and woodwind lessons at our home studio in Richmond Hill, or at students' homes located in the Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, Aurora, Vaughan, and Toronto areas to students of any age, skill level, or musical taste.
Whether you want to involve your child or yourself in the magic of music just for fun, or to participate in music festivals, recitals and exams, or if you are thinking about pursuing a musical career, our studio is the right place to get started, to continue learning, or to master your skills! The Studio's mission is to get students to achieve their best possible potential with their chosen instruments, to develop their musical abilities, and their appreciation of classical and popular music. We offer a comprehensive curriculum, based on proven European and American teaching methods, which includes a variety of musical styles and music theory. The curriculum is tailored to fit each student’s unique learning needs, and musical preferences. The teaching materials used follow the RCM classical repertoire, and include popular music that students may be interested in. We know that students are more engaged in their learning, and achieve the best results, when they enjoy the pieces they play. Our lessons provide students with one-on-one attention so that their progress is maximized, and they can develop at their own pace. We give our students the opportunity to gain stage experience by encouraging them to regularly perform in recitals, music festivals, and examinations.
