After running a few errands near Grant Park Mall, my husband and I found ourselves at Pizza Place. We arrived at approx. 7PM on a Friday evening after an obvious rush. There is approx. 24 tables in the restaurant and when we arrived 9 tables were occupied and 8 were dirty. Our waitress (cheerful) seated us at a clean table but our booth was broken. The bench seat had literately broken away from the backrest so much so that the innards were exposed and there was about a two inch gap from seat to backrest. That aside though, the food was EXCELLENT!! Perhaps the best chicken fingers and curly fries I have ever tasted! The chicken was juicy and tender and the fries were nicely spiced and crispy. The service was fast, friendly and efficient and the price was reasonable.
