Welcome! I am a psychologist having many years of experience with expertise in hypnosis, meditation and many other strategies. I work primarily with individual adults but children and adolescents may be seen in the case of certain circumscribed problems.
A full range of psychological services is offered including treatment related to worries, habit disorders, ailments and various health conditions. Clients have been seen for areas of difficulty relating to stress, anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss, enuresis, thumb sucking, trichotillomania (hair pulling), skin conditions, self esteem, sleep problems, IBS, immune system enhancement, bruxism and many other problems. In addition to more common psychological therapies such as cognitive-behavioural, solution-oriented and so forth, I have special training in Hypnosis, Mind-Body Therapy (Rossi) and Buddhist Psychology methods including Meditation and Mindfulness. Most often a combination of therapies is employed. A free 30 minute first visit consult is available upon request. Otherwise, sessions last one hour. After obtaining a history, feedback is given as to my understanding of the condition and the therapeutic approach to be undertaken.
