Rona

Rona is a national chain and my husband and I were quite excited when we heard that Penticton would be getting a new store a couple of years ago. Since they opened though, we find that we really don’t go there very often. Though they have a decent selection of items, we find their prices very high, and we can most often buy them for less elsewhere. We have price compared them for everything from power tools, to home building supplies, to paint, to items for the home and more often than not they come out more expensive than their competition. It’s too bad because it’s a nice bright, attractive store and a great location. We do however buy things there when there is no place else in town that carries it, because they have the variety that some other stores don’t. Overall, it’s a good store that we generally go to only when we can’t find the item we’re looking for anywhere else. I would recommend Rona to a friend more if their prices were better.
