At LVB Strategic Negotiations & Research Group Inc. we focus on developing a knowledge base leading to a resolution of outstanding issues or to the acquisition of a settlement for the past, present and future infringement of Aboriginal or Treaty rights. We have a knowledgeable team, led by Linda Vanden Berg [formerly of Vanden Berg & Associates], who are experienced in the areas of territorial and Indian Reserve land claims.
We assist in obtaining a resolution to all types of matters including rights of way (railway, highway, pipeline (oil & gas), hydro power line), Specific Claims, Comprehensive Claims, and trespass or boundary disputes. Land management on Indian Reserves cannot move forward until past issues are dealt with - we give workshops on how to deal with these past [and present] grievances. We teach how to acquire the appropriate documentation on which to base your negotiations and just how to make the most of your "Indian Act" or Land Management Code permits, licenses and takings.
