China 1 is a great small buffet found in Essex that is rather popular. If you don't want to wait in lines or have to make reservations this is the buffet restaurant for you. They offer about 12 different items in their buffet all cooked fresh and served hot. The dining area is always very clean and the staff is very quick to refill water glasses. The price is very fair considering the assortment of different foods available. There is always at least one type of fish or seafood found in the buffet. All items are labeled above which makes it great for knowing what is found in the dish or what to expect. Great food, always very hot for being a buffet. They also have icecream and a dessert table filled with great little treats.
