Contracted to plant 35 cedar hedging To ensure success I demanded trees between 4 and 5 feet. During planting I told him that the quality does not look very good but convinced me that they had a 6month guarantee. After six months he had to replace 18 trees, threw the rope from the root bagging and death tree roots over the fence into the park adjacent to my yard. Still 8 more trees died, When I phoned he came and I confronted him with his disposal practices and the dead trees when to replace the last trees who died. He promised to come back last fall. When contacting him he told me the warranty is gone. I paid this guy top dollar, warned him that the trees he planted were poor, due to the dry summer conditions, but he assured me they were well irrigated before digging. As far as I am concerned they are not very honest and the quality of their work is very bad. He tried to blame Port Kells Nursery but that is his problem. $3600.00 later I have 14 trees to show for.
