It's more than just the good food that brings people back again and again. The casual atmosphere and friendly staff, along with Tony’s warm Calabrian hospitality made everyone feel at home. This is how it all began. Anton’s moved to its present location in 1989 to accommodate the always growing clientele. Since then Tony has expanded his menu to include exotic new pasta creations along with his mother’s traditional family recipes.

Anton's Pasta Bar is home to some of the best Pasta in the city - or outside of it, in my humble opinion. For starters, the portions are enormous for the pricing ($15-$17 for an entree). The portions are easily a full meal for two, sometimes three people. Most people I know cough up the cash for a plate all to themselves just so they can have late night leftovers or lunch the next day. Speaking of lunch, Lunch, the prices are a couple dollars cheaper. Most of the pasta is made from scratch, in-house, and the huge variety of sauces make for an interesting meal no matter when you go. It's a popular place for the amazing flavours, portion sizes, and prices - so if you want to eat in, plan to get there early to get a table or a spot near the front of the line! The service is fantastic, but if standing in line makes you nuts, call ahead and get it to go! My family almost always gets ours to go because they give you the same generous portions in foil containers that keep your food nice and hot for the trip home.
