I always loved to design since I was a young lady. I decorated many events for family and friends as gifts! Everyone was always impressed!
With all the positive feedback , I decided to do a floral design course. I graduated in 1999 with my diploma of excellence in floral design. I worked at floral design with other businesses in my area, but I decided that I can do this myself and provide an excellent service. I started Edwina's Special Occasions in November 2001 and continued to grow fast from there! Initially I planned only décor and event planning of special events. Since then, I added flower design in 2002 and in 2009 a gift store! I love designing and, at the end of the day, when I see that all my clients are “wowed” with our work, makes it all worth while.
