Description
Currently, Ms. Weiss is a Ph.D. student at York University (music performance & composition).
She teaches piano York University. In addition to preparing students for RCM examinations,
Ms. Weiss specializes in Spanish and Tamil piano, and in improvisation and composition.
Her students appeared on Rogers TV show "Toronto's Talent", CTV News, Canada AM, HoneyJam,
and continue to win piano competitions & participate in music festivals. Several times a year, Ms. Weiss is
hosting a multi-cultural music showcase with her students. In 2011, Her student Catherine He was the

Alexandra studied classical & jazz piano in Canada and USA. For the past several years, she performed for
Carnival Cruise Lines and the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines as a pianist and a keyboardist
for Broadway-style shows. In addition to teaching theory and harmony classes, her students enjoy playing
in a variety of musical styles, including jazz, blues, R&B, boogie woogie, reggae, soul, Latin & Tamil music.
