Joso, formerly of Malka & Joso duo,successful folk singers of the sixties, made their musical mark in Toronto and the rest of Canada as well as the U.S.A.Joso a trained opera singer, photographer, sculptor and painter, emigrated to Canada in 1961, to make a livingfor his family,still living in Zadar, Croatia, awaiting their long voyage to Canada. They arrived in 1964 to reunite with their father and make their permanent home in Toronto. Joso continued to sing with Malka and perform all over north america until the latter part of the 1960`s. After their mutual break up Joso returned to the basics of life. He took over a coffee shop on Yorkville, in Toronto and ran it with his wife Angiolina. Their daughter Elena, and son Leo did their studies in school and helped their parents work on the weekends.
