My dog only goes to pet smart for the grooming staff are amazing!. Buddy is a pom which means he has 2 coats, One long and one thicker but shorter. We have a hard time keeping him "knot" free, So we decided to go to Pet Smart, due to they were able to get us in on a Saturday. Well since the first hair cut, Buddy has been wonderfully trimmed. He goes 2x a year... once in early Spring (gets shaved right down) & than once in late summer just to get a good trim. We get the Top Dog package, which includes nail cutting & bath. I love the way he smells when he comes home. It is a little pricey, $50.00 for a top Dog pkg, but worth the extra. Best of all he gets a "report card" at the end of each visit. I know my dog is taken care of and the girl that takes care of Buddy, knows him which makes me feel better about leaving my dog there.
