Ajisai Sushi Bar

It’s usually a good indication when a restaurant has a line-up outside it. That’s the case at Ajisai where more often than not there’s a waitlist on the weekend. Slightly different than the typical sushi bar, Ajisai does not have a deep fryer and tempura is nowhere to be found on the menu. However, the fresh prawns in their Dynamite more than make up for the lack of tempura. They also offer a daily fresh fish sheet which I would highly recommend ordering off of. Tucked away in the corridor between London Drugs and the BC Liquor store, Ajisai is well worth the visit.
