Sushi Garden

If I'm in this neck of Toronto and I want Japanese food, I go to Sushi Garden because each time I've gone, the food is consistently good. I usually get their lunch specials and have greatly enjoyed their beef udon noodles. I prefer their beef teriyaki because it's got a lot of teriyaki sauce and the beef is finely sliced (reminds me of thinly cut beef flank) so it picks up more sauce. The best part however, is their salad dressing that comes with the house salad. It reminds me of a savory ginger and sesame type dressing and it is absolutely heavenly. Service can be slow during the lunch hour so it is best to either order in advance for pickup or expect that you'll stay longer for a sit down meal. It's not a huge restaurant either so space is limited but a great deal for the lunch hour!
