Bowen Freight Limited

Bowen Freight movers damaged a teak roll-top desk and other personal possessions when moving our furniture off the island. Alan Mills refused to pay for the repairs on the desk that his movers damaged. It was a nightmare!  On numerous occasions I had to say to the movers to be careful.  To begin with, the movers were ½ hour late showing up, which caused them anxiety about making the ferry and therefore they had to rush the job.  They only brought two moving blankets – which was ridiculous!!  Also, I asked them if they were going to use security straps to hold the items in the truck.  They used only two security straps on the items in the back of the truck and then because they had to rush off to catch the ferry, they decided not to secure any of the other items!  Some items could freely fall over! Bowen Islanders should be very wary if hiring Bowen Freight to move any of their personal possessions!
