Tarek's Cafe

I've been going to this restaurant for about five years. The food is always fantastic, and it is very evident that great lengths are taken to provide the customer with the food made from the highest quality ingredients. The restaurant is "cafe" style, in the respect that you select you food from a display case. The staff are exceedingly friendly, and sometimes even offer their customers a small complementary bowl of their delicious homemade soup. They offer a number of Middle-Eastern dishes, as well as some more North American ones. The name of what I usually purchase eludes me, but I think it may be called the kofta platter. It includes your choice of either Mediterranean seasoned shredded chicken or beef(or a combination of the two), your choice of salad (I usually select the tabbouleh-very good), some pickled turnips (typical of Mediterranean cuisine, and also very delicious), and pita with hummus. The portions are large, and the quality is fantastic. The food is all homemade, and it is evident! Fantastic!
