Victoria Ballet Academy of Canada provides the highest quality recreational, pre-professional, and professional dance programs in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our master ballet instructors build on 300 years of experience developed by the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia. Victoria Ballet Academy was founded in 2003 with the participation and inspiration of Mrs. Victoria Mironova (Evdokimova), M. Ed., one of the most distinguished ballet teachers in Canada. Ms. Victoria Mironova belongs to the second generation of ballet professors who have learned directly from the students of Agrippina Vaganova, the founder of the famous Vaganova syllabus. The weekend and evening dance classes cover a broad range of activities such as ballet, character dance, modern and ballet gymnastics. Our program expands children’s talents, develops their physical, social and intellectual skills, educates them in the art of dance, identifies and prepares the most gifted students for the Professional Ballet and Academic Program in the International Ballet Academy division. The after-school dance classes provide high-school students in Arts Programs with an additional opportunity to earn credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
