A Hamilton landmark since 1967, the Black Forest Inn has earned the reputation of serving the best in Austrian, German and Continental cuisine. The menu includes Schnitzel selected from six European countries, and during the summer months a "Biergarten" menu is available on the outdoor patio. Chef Wolfgang serves up daily luncheon and dinner specials, and on this web site shares some of his recipes with us. The Black Forest Inn is amazing! You get a lot of food for a relatively low cost along with excellent, friendly service. The food is authentic German and just amazing. Like I said, they give you generous portions. This is probably the best German food I have ever had; their Spaetzle is absolutely to die for, I order it EVERY time! Even the serving of vegetables is something incredible tasting. Their sauces are devilishly good. I can't say enough good things about their food. The food is obviously made by a Chef who knows what they are doing in a German kitchen. The decor is very old-world European to the point of almost being tacky but it is very inviting and comforting. This restaurant can get very busy so if you are going on the weekend make sure to make reservations!
