My father died here. The staff at this facility were not trained nor interested in a man with Alzheimer's. When he wouldn't eat they thought he was being difficult so didn't do anything (Alzheimer's effects). They put him in a wheelchair the day he arrived for their convenience and he never walked again. We hired additional staff which had no effect on his care as the PR staff left him to our personal aide's care exclusively. We reported what went on at PR to Province. There was an investigation and this facility admitted their errors. Check this place out thoroughly before putting a loved one here. This happened 8 yrs. ago and it still hurts to know what they did to my Dad.
