Matsu Sushi

Matsu makes me smile. The minute you walk through the door you're greeted so enthusiastically, it's like they're excited to see you - whether it's your fifteenth visit, or only your first. Matsu is the real deal. Fantastic sushi, made right before your eyes, curtained booths for private dining and delicate Japanese decor and architectural accents. Everything they serve is impeccable, fresh and delicious - right from the miso soup and salad, through to the teriyaki chicken and unbelievable, boat of sushi, capped off with the sliced and reassembled orange you eat with a toothpick at the end. The prices are very reasonable, when you consider the amount of skill needed to prepare the food. Our family of three will usually end up with a bill under $50. They don't have a children's menu, but kids, who like to try new things, will easily find a new taste adventure. Matsu is a fun place to eat; extremely welcoming and consistently top quality.
