Happiness is... Dancing Performing Arts Studio was established in 1994. In a very short period of time the studio became recognized as being the only dance institution that offered all aspects of Performing Arts Education in the area.
Classes are offered at all levels and ability for every student including our popular Recreational program, our Full-Time Competitive Program and our newly added Rec-Competitive Program. Happiness is... Dancing also offers Private Voice Lessons. The classes offered include Tots, Pre-Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acro Dance and Contemporary. The studio's growth over the past twenty years has allowed it to become a highly recognized dance organization for it's incredible training and development of dancers in the City of Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas. During this time many students have gone on to become Studio Directors, Teachers, Competition/Convention Owners, and Professional Dancers. Others have been accepted into Professional Ballet Programs such as the National Ballet of Toronto, Quinte Ballet School and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. In 2011 Happiness is... Dancing's own Anthony Madison became the Junior World Tap Champion in Reisa, Germany. Many HID students have also participated all over North America in various National Competitions and have been awarded National Title Winners. The studio's philosophy has been the same since it opened its doors in 1994; to provide a dance environment that is welcoming, delivering quality dance/vocal instruction, providing a safe studio with a professional atmosphere, and most importantly, that each child has fun and leaves having had a pleasurable experience. We finish off each year with annual Professional Recitals that are the highlight of the year for all students and their families. This has contributed in making Happiness is...Dancing one of the most renowned studios in the Province. Welcome to our studio and have a Great Time!!!
