Nova Deli

When we lived in Trenton, we discovered this place and ate there regularly. I hadn't really tried Donairs much though I had tried Donner Kebabs in the UK and they are fairly similar. These donairs are amazing though. The meat has a rough texture compared to many of the donair and gyro meats you can find and the sauce is very unique and delicious. The sizes are generous and I used to be able to order a large one and have left overs but since they are super tasty, I would often just eat too much. The waiting time is not bad at all and the service is friendly. The cost was approx 8 dollars a donair when we lived there and that may have changed but it's a great deal for your dollar. Very filling! If you can handle fries too, they aren't bad here. I enjoyed them a few times. I haven't tried much else from their menu but for Donairs, these guys are awesome. Now we live across Canada we can't find anything similar though my husband makes a wicked pure lamb version that will tide me over till we can visit again!
