DO NOT hire Membranix to work on your house. After having water issues in our basement, Membranix came to waterproof our home. Half way through the job, they informed us that they needed to do even more work than agreed upon, costing a great deal more money. They added extra “waterproofing” solutions, which we later learned are not helping our home, but damaging it further. The work that they did has affected the structural integrity of our house causing cracks and sinking. The cost to fix this damage is more than double the cost of the original work we had done. Membranix refuses to take responsibility for this, even though we had an independent structural engineer confirm that the damage is a result of their work. Shame on us for trusting their “expertise” since every other foundation company that has looked at the work is disgusted by what Membranix has done. Find a contractor that is reliable and trustworthy, save yourself the stress and money. Stay away.
