At this location you will also find a lovely new tea room known as the Rideau Lakes Cafe & Dessert Bar that has been added to the end of the building. I went there last month with a group of Red Hatters and we had a lovely lunch of sandwiches made on nice buns, along with our choice of beautiful and tasty homemade desserts and a wide variety of beverages. There are little bottles of specialty teas and you are invited to remove the lids and sniff so you will have some idea of what you are ordering, if a special tea is your choice. Today I took my hubby there for a nice treat, and he enjoyed the experience too, so I'm sure we'll be going back again in the future.
