Our local Canadian Tire is older and on the small side, but still carries a wide range of products, with good prices. I do like that if there is a product on the Canadian Tire website that our store does not stock, they can order it in. However, their prices on everything are a few dollars more then at four other Canadian Tire stores that are within a 1 hour drive, I'm not sure why that is. You can ask at checkout for them to price match their other stores and they will, but it's such a pain! I don't know why their prices would be higher. Also, their auto service department prices are just terrible. The work itself is fine, but the prices are so ridiculously high compared to everywhere else. We just had an oil change done and supplied our own oil. The last time I did that was at Wal-Mart and it only cost $18, including the filter, taxes, everything. At Canadian Tire, the exact same service cost $46! I was blown away! I will NEVER be taking my vehicle in to their auto department again.
