Description
Prairie Firehouse is committed to providing our guests with an excellent dining experience. We strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with delicious and creative food and drink. Our guests are surrounded by laughter and social moments in a modern setting with a touch of history.
Our menu provides unique and recognizable dishes, made in-house from real ingredients. We consider every guest and offer tasty options for people with allergies, dietary preferences and restrictions. We are dedicated to using local Manitoba producers as available to provide our kitchen with ingredients for our fare.
The old Central Fire Station on Princess was designed by W.A. Elliot and is Manitoba Municipal Heritage Site No. 196. It was constructed in 1911 on the site of the previous fire station that was in use from 1882-1893. The location has been a part of Brandon’s history, serving the community for over a century. This beautiful landmark is now part of the present as a place for the community to gather.
We have seized the opportunity to playfully work with being an old fire station by offering a variety of menu items that are smoked and have included a few fiery items as well. We offer a variety of unique craft cocktails, an excellent wine list and have local beers on tap.
We have a stage area and regularly book local bands for both soft entertainment during the dinner hour and more energetic tunes for late night drinks.
