Nelson is a family business specializing in excavating, septic systems, and construction in the Kawartha Lakes/Peterborough areas. We have been safely operating heavy equipment for over 30 years and have gained a great deal of experience by completing projects large and small. Septic systems, foundations, driveways, retaining walls, shorelines, riding arenas, drive sheds - we can and have done them all. We are insured, licensed, and WSIB compliant.
We have been installing conventional septic systems for over 30 years but we are also able to install tertiary systems such as Waterloo Biofilter and Bionest systems. These systems require less space than conventional systems. If your building lot is too small for a conventional system the smaller footprint of a tertiary system may be just what you need. As part of our septic system package we can design and install your system as well as coordinate with your local inspector for the permit, on site meeting and final inspection.
We also offer excavation and foundation packages which can be customized to suit your needs.
Our excavation package can include stripping topsoil, driveway and gravel, basements, backfilling, septic, utility trenching, and final grading. If you are building on a lot with municipal water/sewer we are able to make those connections.
Our foundation package can include everything in the excavation package as well as footings, basement stone, foundation walls, foundation coating, o-pipe, and stone.
