Justin Duhaime is a versatile guitarist, bassist, improviser, composer, arranger, teacher and writer from the Ottawa area. After buying his first guitar at 12 he taught himself how to play and compose, eventually graduating from Carleton University with a B.Mus with high honours. Justin has performed at the Ottawa Jazz Festival, the Chamber Music Festival, the Ottawa Folk Festival and on CBC radio to name just a few.
Justin has been teaching since May 2005 and has taught over 100 students about music, guitar, improvisation, sight reading, harmony, technique, ear training, and styles ranging from rock to jazz, from pop to metal and from blues to classical.
