Sergei Pavlov has intensive piano performance and teaching experience - of over 30 years, as well as a musical sensitivity and a virtuoso technique which has been highly recognized in piano competitions at international level. He is the Grand Prix winner of the 1995 Bartók-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition.
Sergei Pavlov has been teaching piano lessons in the Greater Toronto Area since 1992, where he founded Debut Piano Studio, now a well established and successful home-based piano school. The piano lessons offerings are now extending to the Ajax and Whitby areas, where we have our newest location.
The piano studio has now over fourty five proud and very special students who are like a big, happy musical family, meeting twice a year at the studio's recitals, as well as various piano competitions across GTA. They are in excellent, competent hands with Sergei Pavlov and achieve deserved recognition at the Royal Conservatory of Music's examinations and music festivals across the province.
Lessons with Sergei Pavlov are fun, but they are also very serious as they challenge the students to give their best. It would be objectively hard to find a teacher of similar quality and professionalism, who can be meanwhile be an inspiration to his students through his personal achievements and personal qualities.
The piano lessons are provided in Durham Studio at our home-based studio in Whitby.
