Pleasant Park Kennels and Grooming is a family owned full service dog boarding kennel, grooming salon, pet boutique, and Professional Dog Grooming Academy. Since our opening in 2005 we have worked hard to earn your trust as Essex County's premier pet care facility. All of our kennels are fully climate controlled and offer private indoor/outdoor sheltered dog runs. All dogs receive exercise time two to three times daily in one of our seven fenced exercise yards. All exercise is included in our daily rate - there are no extra charges for exercise or for administration of medications. Dogs staying four days or more receive a complimentary bath before leaving. You may also choose to book your dog for full professional grooming services before leaving (additional charges apply for grooming services).
Services: Boarding: Fees (as of January 2012)*: $24 per day plus HST. Each additional dog sharing a standard kennel is $11 per day plus HST. *beginning April 2014 fees will be $27 per day plus HST. Professional Grooming Services: Offering full professional grooming services in all breeds, including hand stripping and fun Asian inspired cuts. Discounts available for grooming done by students in our Professional Grooming Academy. Please call for details. Registered Professional Dog Grooming Academy: The Pleasant Park Grooming Academy is proud to offer Essex County's only registered Professional Dog Grooming program since 2010. The Academy is a registered Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and the Professional Dog Grooming course is a registered vocational program under the Act. Please contact the office to receive a course package or arrange a tour of the Academy. Boutique: Carrying a selection of Canadian made holistic treats, as well as hand crafted toys, blankets and coats from Patti's PetPourri. All handmade accessories are locally made and exclusive to Pleasant Park Kennels.
